There was an older gentleman behind the bakery counter who was helping me find their gluten free options. He recommended a GF brownie to me but I politely declined as GF stuff is pricey and I tend to not enjoy GF brownies. The next thing I knew he came out from behind the counter with one wrapped up and said it was on the house. ♥️ Many times I feel overlooked - at best - in grocery stores because of my food allergies but this man made me feel like I mattered. This might sound silly to people without food allergies, but those of you who have them probably get it. That older gentleman really made my day and if he’s there next time I’m definitely going to let him know. (I did say thank you but it was busy and we needed to move out of the way.) I don’t know his name but he’s doing a fantastic job. For the record, I did enjoy the brownie, to my surprise. ☺️

I go here often for lunch and go to the salad bar. Everything is always fresh. Also eaten from Jack's grill quite a few times, love the ribeye sandwich. If you are looking for quality in my opinion this is the place. Sign up for a club card and get deals, and emails about location events.

I recently visited the original Dorothy Lane Market location in the Dayton, Ohio area, and it’s truly one of those stores you just have to experience—especially if you’re a foodie. The bakery alone is worth the trip. The showcases were filled with handmade, in-store creations like specialty cheesecakes, tiramisu, cake pops, brownies, and a wide variety of gourmet desserts. They also had a beautiful bread section and a coffee shop, along with premade cakes for birthdays and special occasions. Everything looked high-end and thoughtfully prepared. The deli was just as impressive, with real chefs preparing fresh foods. The salads looked incredible, and the store also featured a full salad bar, a well-stocked produce department, and a beautiful meat case. It’s clear they focus heavily on quality and presentation throughout the entire store. That said, the prices are significantly higher than what you’d find at places like Walmart, Kroger, or most independent grocery stores. Some items had a very noticeable markup. For example, ribeye steaks were priced far above what I’m used to seeing elsewhere. As for what I tried, the deviled eggs just weren’t my cup of tea—they needed more tang

I recently discovered this store about a month ago and it really brings me a lot of joy to come here and shop. I love that there is such a vast variety of fruits to pick from. I love that the produce and meats are Quality items And I just feel welcome there. I feel joy going to the store to shop. I love the coffee shop in the bakery, and I wished that this place would expand more locations across the nation.

Market-grocery They have a very nice meat counter, wine selection, bakery for breads and pastries, flowers, fruits, vegetables, salad bar, prepared meals, deli, cheeses, soups, indoor and outdoor area to dine, sodas, beers. It has a bit of a European market vibe to it. We bought some cheeses, steaks, and potatoes for home. Enjoyed a salad and sandwich under an umbrella on a beautiful day outside.
